City Kids

Welcome Parents!

Our vision is to see kids and families encounter Jesus, explore faith, enjoy church, and be equipped for life! Children’s Ministry serves ages 3 months to 4K in our Preschool and Nursery program and 5K-5th grade in our Elementary program.

We strive to provide fun, safe, environments for kids through fifth grade each Sunday morning in the Children’s Museum of the Lowcountry in downtown Charleston. All kids’ areas are run by background-checked volunteers and staff. All children are supervised by at least two City Kids team members at all times.

Check-In

When you arrive at the Music Farm on Sundays you will find the City Kids Check-In area near the main entrance. Our team will be happy to assist you in printing out a name tag for our child and answer any questions you may have about City Kids.

Dismissal to the Children’s Museum

We think that participating in the life of the church is important for our children to experience, therefore they will stay with you during the beginning of service until they are dismissed after a few songs during the Passing of the Peace. Afterward, we dismiss the kids to be safely escorted by our City Kids Team and the Charleston Police Department to the Children’s Museum and they return to the service for communion after the sermon.

Children Are Welcome in the Service

If you’d like your child to stay in service with you, there are baby changing stations are available in the Women’s Restroom at the Music Farm and also at the Children’s Museum of the Lowcountry across the street. We also have a Loft upstairs at the Music Farm available for Nursing Mothers.
